  1. I think you could also do something fun with the negative space--either cut apart the paint chip strips or leave them connected and decorate with them. They might make a cute notebook/journal cover.

  10. I purchased the paper punch a few years ago. The brand is "the Paper Studio." Sadly, I don't recall where I bought it.

  15. Thanks for sharing such a great idea for repurposing paint chips! My 6 year old made a banner using a leaf punch instead of hearts. It turned out so cute!

I featured it on my blog here: http://www.pinfluence.com/2011/10/06/paper-leaf-garland/

  19. Clever, clever, clever!
Surely any paper punch shape would do, right? Butterfly. Circle. Hearts, tho', are the cutest!

  25. I MUST KNOW! What punch is that? Who makes it? the writing on it isn't large enough to read. I like it alot better that the perfect heart ones in the craft stores.

  26. The Paper Studio brand is sold only at Hobby Lobby. So if it was Paper Studio, that's where it came from.

Uchida made a similar punch, Primitive Heart, but that has been discontinued. This link http://www.1stopsquare.com/superjum.html leads to a place in Chicago that bought them all up. They have a few left. Those are $15.99 and about 2.5" long.

EK Success makes one that is similar, Paper Shapers Medium Punch, Folk Heart
    http://www.amazon.com/Success-Paper-Shapers-Medium-Punch/dp/B000MATGMG

This is the McGill version ($20.00) http://www.mkbeads.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=NB003&gclid=CMH1nJjKmK8CFUrWKgodlVhy0Q

I went crazy trying to find the Paper Studio punch, but it's long discontinued. Try these other ones, Ladies. You can find them for way cheaper if you look around the Web. Look for "Primitive", "Funky" or "Country" heart. And if you want the Uchida one, make sure you get to 1stopsquare soon, because she said she bought all there were to be had and she doesn't have that many left. Happy punching!

    1. About the EK Success one-- on my own, I found one described as "Ek Success Paper Shapers Small Punch, Folk Heart," and in the description it says it measures "1-1/4-inch by 2-1/2-inch." Do you think they are talking about the size of the punch, or the heart? (Link here: http://www.amazon.com/Success-Paper-Shapers-Small-Punch/dp/B0013JN26G/ref=sr_1_7?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1360349636&sr=1-7&keywords=heart+shaped+paper+punch)
The reason I ask is because in your link, it mentions the shape of the punched product, which is slightly smaller. Any ideas?
